Lindsey Riggs, HTL earned her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2005 before attending the Histotechnology program at the Medical University of South Carolina. Lindsey has been employed by Eastern Dermatology & Pathology for the past 18 years and has been a member of the ASMH, since 2009. She has served on several committees for a number of years, as well as Board Director, Vice President and past ASMH President.
Jeanie Wade, HT (ASCP) is from Tyler, Texas and is employed by US Dermatology Partners of Tyler. Jeanie has been an ASMH member in good standing since 2001. Over the years, Jeanie has served on many ASMH committees, served one term as an ASMH Director (2008-2011), two consecutive terms as ASMH President (2012-2014 / 2014-2016), followed by ASMH Past President (2016-2018). Jeanie is an advocate for the ASMH and encourages other ASMH Society members to "Be the Difference".

Mastering the Art of Eyelid Tissue Processing

This session will present cases from both the Mohs surgeon and Mohs histotechnician perspectives to highlight the pearls and pitfalls in mastering the art of eyelid tissue processing. Members from both the ASMH and ACMS are welcome, with programming for all levels of experience – from novice to expert.

Presenters:
Mariam Mafee, MD, FACMS is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon at Rush. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her internship at UChicago Medicine at NorthShore University Health System – Evanston. She completed her residency in dermatology at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County where she served as chief resident. She gained advanced training in skin cancer treatment, reconstructive surgery and high-risk patient care through her fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Kishwer Nehal, MD, FACMS is a board-certified dermatologist with fellowship training and expertise in cutaneous oncology and Mohs and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Nehal joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in 1998 and is the founder and Director of the Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Program. Dr. Nehal is also the co-director of the Multidisciplinary Skin Cancer Management Program at MSKCC providing comprehensive care for high risk, complex, and advanced nonmelanoma skin cancer patients in a multidisciplinary setting. She has published extensively in the field of cutaneous oncology and Mohs surgery and serves on the National Comprehensive Cancer Network panel on Nonmelanoma skin cancer and the American Joint Committee on Cancer Squamous cell carcinoma expert panel. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and is a Dermatology advisor for the AMA CPT panel.
Camille Pellone-McKay, M.Ed., BSHCA has been The Regional Pathology Manager for Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSKCC) where she has overseen the Mohs laboratories for ten years. Camille has worked in the Pathology/Mohs field for over 30 years. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed mentoring others. Camille is currently the President of The American Mohs Society of Histotechnology (ASMH 25-26). Camille, Dr. Nehal, and their MSK Mohs team have created The Laboratory Manual for Mohs Micrographic Surgery: Frozen Tissue Processing, which the Mohs community has well received.
