The American Society for Mohs Histotechnology (ASMH) is a membership organization of 450+ skilled technicians who process the slides used to determine the amount of tissue removed during the Mohs micrographic surgical procedure used to treat skin cancer. They are a vital part of the surgical process and are essential to successful surgical outcomes.
The organization was founded in 1995 as an ancillary group to the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS). One of the requirements for membership in the ASMH is employment by an active ACMS member or membership in the ACMS.
